A Foundation of Hygiene

At the heart of a healthy city lies a commitment to clean infrastructure. Tubah Council has made significant strides in ensuring that essential public spaces, including our bustling markets, schools, hospitals, and transit hubs, are equipped for proper waste management.

• Market Sanitation: From Bambili Market to our transport stations, you will find well-maintained waste disposal points, hand-washing kits, and clean, managed counters, ensuring that commerce thrives in a hygienic environment.

• Health and Education: We have prioritized sanitation in our public facilities. Tubah District Hospital, along with local nursery, primary, and secondary schools, feature functional, regularly cleaned facilities and modern waste disposal systems.

A clean city is a shared responsibility. We are incredibly grateful for the active participation of our residents. By dedicating every Thursday from 6:00 AM to 12:00 Noon to general clean-up campaigns, our community shows its unwavering commitment to our shared environment.

To support this culture of cleanliness, the Council has:

• Established 20 neighborhood committees to empower local development and sanitation oversight.

• Utilized community radio, public notices, social media, and billboards to keep every citizen informed and engaged.

Looking Forward: Sustainable Innovation

Tubah is not just cleaning up for today; we are building for the future. Our commitment to sustainability is evident in our forward-thinking initiatives:

• Waste Reclamation: We are moving beyond collection to active waste management, including sorting, selective collection, and recycling.

• Modern Solutions: We are excited to highlight our progress in waste reclamation, including the production of pavement bricks from recycled materials and the ongoing construction of a new, modern waste management and recycling site.
