Tubah Council Ranks 5th Nationally in PROLOG Performance Assessment, Securing Over 311 Million FCFA Performance Grant
Celebrating Excellence and Community Trust
The Executive and Municipal Council of Tubah are filled with immense gratitude and pride as we share a landmark achievement in our collective journey toward local development.
Under the 2026 Performance Indicators (PI) assessment for the Local Governance and Resilient Communities Project (PROLOG), financed by the World Bank and coordinated by the Ministry of Decentralisation and Local Development (MINDDEVEL), Tubah Council scored 83/100. Out of 122 councils evaluated nationwide, Tubah Council achieved 5th place, surpassing the excellence threshold and qualifying for maximum performance allocations and bonuses.
As a direct result of this exceptional rating, our municipality has been awarded a total Second-Level Allocation (ADN) under the Performance-Based Grant of 311,551,837 FCFA.
A Shared Victory for the People of Tubah
This milestone belongs to every resident, councillor, municipal staff member, traditional authority, and community group across Tubah.
Our high scores across vital governance areas—including 10/10 in Own-Revenue Collection, 10/10 in Environmental and Social Management, 8/8 in Council Development Planning, and 8/8 in Grassroots Village Committee Engagement—reflect our shared dedication to transparent, participatory, and sustainable governance.
Driven by a Greater Mission: Sustainable & Resilient Infrastructure
While this grant is a significant financial boost, it serves a much larger purpose: advancing the broader mission of Tubah Council.
Our vision remains centered on:
-
Modernizing Community Infrastructure: Upgrading local roads, public facilities, and community assets.
-
Empowering Grassroots Voices: Ensuring that project selection continues to directly reflect priorities identified by our village and neighbourhood committees.
-
Building Climate Resilience: Strengthening local livelihoods and environmental safeguards for future generations.
Every franc from this 311.55 Million FCFA grant will be channeled directly into tangible, high-impact projects designed to elevate the standard of living for all citizens in Tubah.
Continuous Improvement in Governance
As part of our commitment to total transparency, the evaluation feedback highlighted minor administrative areas for technical refinement—specifically ensuring that web verification links and physical notice board photos are seamlessly captured in future assessment submissions.
While our digital web portal actively maintains and publishes all statutory sessions and public records, streamlining how these digital proofs are attached in formal forms will ensure our scores are even higher in upcoming evaluation cycles.
Looking Ahead
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry of Decentralisation and Local Development (MINDDEVEL), the World Bank, and the PROLOG Regional Coordination Unit for their continued partnership and guidance.
As we move forward into the implementation phase of these grant funds, we invite all community members to remain actively engaged in our public consultative sessions, neighborhood committees, and local development dialogues. Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient Tubah!
